About Us
We are family!! Two families come together, a Mother with a daughter and a Father with a son. Both Dan and I grew up in families where doing "chores" wasn't considered "child labor" but a part of growing up and taught us responsibility and pride from ones accomplishments. I had horses... Dan had dairy cows...eh, they are both large and eat A LOT! Goats seemed like a more efficient option! It all went downhill... I mean uphill from there! We started out with 2 and somehow ended up with 31 in a short time! Man, that goat math will getcha! The kids love playing with the goats; however, chores... eh, not so much. Until... showtime! We have learned so much about prepping, winning, losing (and not getting upset), and how to be a team. We are teaching the kids that any ribbon won is a win for our "team" and we are happy no matter who is handling the animal. We continue to strive to obtain and breed beautiful, conformationally correct animals that are also productive in milk production. We participate in DHIR, ADGA shows, Linear Appraisal and DNA test all our bucks. We are located in Freedom, a small town in Western New York. We show in ADGA shows across the state as well as several boarder states. So if you aren't near us, we may see you there! |
